Quark CEO to Address Graduates

Raymond Schiavone, president and CEO of Quark, will be the Clark School commencement speaker at the graduation ceremony on May 21 at 10 a.m. in Cole Student Activities Building.

A veteran software company leader and former GE executive, Schiavone was president and CEO of Arbortext, Inc., prior to joining Quark. He also has served as president of TPN Register, a GE and Thomas Publishing joint venture.

During is 14-year career at GE, Schiavone held a variety of leadership positions throughout the United States and Europe. Schiavone is a member of the Clark School Board of Visitors. He holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a B.S. from Syracuse University.

Steven Hoffenson, a graduating senior in mechanical engineering, will be the student speaker.

The Clark School's commencement ceremony will be followed by a reception in the Kim Engineering Building for graduates and their families. RSVPs are requested by May 14.
